The Clerk maintains General Sessions criminal case files including warrants, indictments, bond documents, sentencing sheets, and complete case files. Common Pleas civil records and Family Court documents are also in this office. Copies can be requested in person or by mail. Standard copy fees are approximately $0.25 per page.
For mail requests, include the full name, approximate filing year, and case type if known. The Clerk can help locate the correct case number once basic identifying information is provided.

Dillon County Arrest Records and Sheriff
The Dillon County Sheriff's Office is the primary law enforcement agency for unincorporated areas and holds arrest records, incident reports, booking information, and warrant data. Records requests fall under the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act at Title 30, Chapter 4.
The City of Dillon and Lake View have their own police departments with separate records. Requests for city incidents should go to the appropriate city police department.
